The Many Faces of Sofia

Sofia caught with her grumpy face.   Silly Sofia. This is the version of Sofia we have been seeing a lot lately.   Cutie pie Sofia.  Big sister and toothless Sofia. These pictures make me smile, because I love this little girl so much. Here is the scoop on Sofia. *We love having […]

Grandpa Olsen - July 31, 2012 - 7:40 pm

sofia is a great granddaughter sister ,and daughter. we love to see her as a big sister because she is so concerned for her brother and sister. She always ask “what does that mean” when she doesn’t understand something. This is going to help her know many things for a young girl.We are all so blessed to have sofia in our lives.

love you girl Grand ma and grandpa Olsen

Utah Trip

Our main trip this summer was driving to St. George Utah for a family reunion. It was a reunion for my mom’s side of the family, and we really wanted to go since we haven’t been able to make the last couple of reunions. Am I glad that we went? Yes. It was important for […]

Sarabeth - July 28, 2012 - 11:25 pm

Well look at you go with the blog posts! I can relate to what you said a few posts back about summer being a bit crazy and being ready for things to slow down. Thankfully for us, August should be more laidback than July has been.

I really can’t get over how much older Miriam is looking! And I love Sofia with bangs.

Long trips with little kids are hard regardless, but especially when you add in sickness! But you and Chris are such a good team (aren’t hands-on husbands the best?!), and yes, it is always good to visit family you rarely see.

Ummm…do you text? If so, text me your number again. I still want to call you!

I heard that Corvallis is having a hand, foot and mouth epidemic right now I feel badly but I haven’t let Seamus go to the library or the Play Factory for about 3 weeks. I’m terrified he’s going to get it (and so will Eleanor). It sounds awful.

Macartney had hand, foot, and mouth when she was a toddler. It was pretty miserable, but she didn’t actually get them in her mouth, which is good. I just remember the fever and general not feeling good was the worst for her. That’s too bad that it put a damper on your trip.

I think it’s been a little too long since we’ve seen you. Miriam looks like a big kid now!

Sarabeth, are you still going to Klamath at the beginning of August? Let me know if you want to be fed, and you could stop for a meal and to say hello.
You are wise. It was seriously one of the worst things my kids have gotten, because the fever just won’t go away.
Yes, not to mention that fact that we haven’t even met one of your kids!!

Let’s go fly a kite

On the second day of our trip, we headed over to Seaside for some kite flying.

Evergreen Aviation Museum

On the way to LL Stub Stewart State Park, we stopped in Mcminnville at the Evergreen Avation Museum. It is the current home of the Spruce Goose. We had fun, although the kids were almost as amused by the random airplane seats that they could go and buckle themselves in and out of, as they […]

LL Stub Stewart State Park

Summer is crazy. A good crazy, but I am ready for things to slow down around here. I have many things to blog about, but I will start with the most recent trip and work my way back. We just got home from camping ( cabin camping if that counts) at LL Stub Stewart State […]
