Would you rather……

Last summer when my sister Kris and I were traveling together, we started playing the “would you rather” game, and it amused us for a long amount of time. I thought that it would be fun to play the would your rather game on the blog. I have been listening to the local radio station that plays Christmas music, and today I was unfortunate enough to have Michael Bolton’s version of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” stuck in my head for much of the day. So my question for the day is:

“Would you rather listen to a Michael Bolton Christmas Concert or sit through a Kenny G concert?”

Please share your answer and reasoning.

Michael Bolton concert for sure…best remedy for cheese is to close your eyes, put a fist in the air, and sing at the top of your lungs.

I would totally pick Michael Bolton as well. You could totally go with the cheesiness, but I fear that a Kenny G concert would be just plain awkward.

Kenny G….sounds of saxophone is better than Michael Bolton’s voice :p

i totally pick michael bolton- did you see his recent digital short on snl? it was the best. if i picked kenny g i’d be tempted to shove his clarinet down his throat…that thing gets annoying after like 5 notes.

Oh darn… It’s a tough one Kara… My mom killed Kenny G while I was growing up by playing his music tape too many times every day-so Micky for sure.

Although, I thought this was going to be a Dr. Seuss book that asks “would you rather be a bat or a ball..?” and so on. I love reading that book with my kids!

Hope you are doing well!

Would you rather live in Winnemucca, Nevada or Fairbanks, Alaska?

kara - November 30, 2011 - 10:53 pm

Haaa. love the comments. Chris, I have been thinking about this all day, and it was tough, but I would rather live in Winemucca. I just couldn’t do -30 degree weather, and that is the breaker for me.

Um seriously, Where’s the love for the man who can hold a note for a world record of 45 minutes? Please people keep the love for the G!

Ha ha! I’ve actually BEEN to Kenny G concert! Even better – it’s the only concert I’ve ever been to unless you count the free ones at the county fair.

I’m for Kenny G too! Every once in awhile we have a Kenny G day, it’s a rainy day, go figure, pajamas, usually painting or some craft and lots of sax. I hope I’m not killing Kenny G for the girls like Candice’s mom did!:-)

I love that you never comment on the blog, and when you do, it is to defend Kenny G. That is love my dear :). I didn’t know he held any such record. That is impressive… not that I would want to sit through him playing that note.
I love you. I truly love that your only concert experience has been Kenny G :). How was it??
Haaa… I fear that anything we do as moms will not be looked at as cool by our daughters, so you can’t be doing any harm :).

Michael Bolton, only because I could sing along to some of it and that would make it bearable. Denver swears we saw Kenny G at Six Flags in California, coming out of a restaurant, with a very tiny entourage. I didn’t get a good enough look. Our brush with celebrity.
