Easter 2013

So much to catch up on. Chris and Gabe went to San Antonio for spring break to visit Anita. I decided to drive Miriam and Sofia to Idaho to go and see my sister 13 hours each way. We were sad when we realized that Chris had booked his flight home for Easter night (he hadn’t realized it was for Easter when he booked it). We were all missing each other and wanting to spend Easter together, so Chris changed their flights, and we were able to all be together on Easter. It was the most beautiful weather I remember ever having on Eater, and I was so happy to have my little family back together.

Many of you also know that I started a new job this week at the Linus Pauling Institute-Healthy Youth Program at OSU. I will write more about that when I have time, but I have a feeling that free time is going to be something that is sparse for the next little while until me and my family find our new groove. And groove we will eventually, because that is how we like to roll around here.

Sofia with her new glasses. There is definitely no shortage of personality in this little family of mine.I missed this little boy a lot while he was in Texas.I couldn’t resist getting the girl matching Easter dresses. I figure that I don’t have very much more time where Sofia is excited about dressing like her much younger sister, so we must take advantage of the matching cuteness while we can :).The whole family.

Beautiful kids you have. I understand about missing Gabe. Sometimes I miss my kids when they’re just at school…but when they’re really far away, I don’t like it at all.

I’m not sure what our summer looks like yet, but I want to see you sometime!
